explorateur patient

I started photography in 2002.
For a long time, I have essentially focussed on the technical aspects of photography. In the recent years, I have attended photography trainings with French photographers Laurence Leblanc and Antoine D’Agata.
Those experiences completely changed my perspective on photography. I now follow much more my instinct or personal thoughts, and let my photographic work under the influence of personal interests for music, literature, dance, or movies.
Regarding my subjects, they no longer appear to me as the result of a choice, but rather as something to which I have to give myself in, until it becomes a portrait of my own personal experiences.

For this series, I have worked on the relationship of a lady volunteering in a shelter for cats, with the animals she takes care of.
